Virginia Monroe  Virginia Monroe has been a language arts and social studies teacher since 1987 when she started teaching in Milliken, CO. She moved to Colorado Springs to teach at Lewis Palmer Middle School in 1989.
Being a graduate from the University of Northern Colorado with a Bachelor of Arts degree with an emphasis on middle school education in 1986 and acquiring a Master of Arts degree from University of Colorado – Colorado Springs have enabled Virginia to teach the areas of her passion: reading, writing, and public speaking to middle school students.
Virginia is a Colorado native who was born in Steamboat Springs, CO. She is an avid skier and loves venturing to the mountains every chance she gets with her daughters and her son-in-law.
